Introduction to safeguarding

The training will cover:

- A practical understanding of what safeguarding is and the role of organisations in keeping people safe.

- An over-view of relevant legislation and guidelines 

- Understanding the main categories of abuse, including emotional, physical and sexual abuse and how these might show up with the people you work with, and knowing what signs to look out, and what action to take

- Understanding your mandatory reporting duty and what this means for Be Well champions.
