Citizens UK Be Well Champions Training

Part 2 of Be Well Champions training is delivered by Citizens UK and covers the practicalities of becoming a Be Well Hub, as well as introducing core elements of community organising.

The second part of the Be Well Champions training is delivered by Citizens UK and covers the practicalities of becoming a Be Well Hub, as well as introducing core elements of community organising. 

This includes:

  • What is a Be Well Hub?

  • Building a relational culture

  • How to listen effectively in your community

  • Building your Be Well Hub team

To sign up your community group/institution to receive this Be Well Hub core team training, get in touch with your local organiser to find out about upcoming training or to organise a session for 3 or more people in your team.

Be Well Hubs

Working with leaders in organisations to develops safe spaces for local people to turn to when they feel their mental health is low or simply to feel more connected with their local community. Find out more about our Be Well Programme. 

Part 1 of the training has two modules and supports Champions to help those suffering from mental ill-health. They will also receive supervisions and report back on key themes and trends from their communities.

Part 2 of this training is focused on work within Hubs and is coordinated by Citizens UK.
