JOIN MINDFUL AOTEAROA FOR AN 8 WEEK ONLINE MINDFULNESS COURSE AND LEARN TO: 

  • Brighten your mind.
  • Let go of tension and stress.
  • Focus your attention on one thing – pay attention to the important stuff, without unnecessary distractions.
  • Be receptive to many things – opening up to the world within and around you.
  • Notice, accept and let go of distressing or unhelpful thoughts and emotions.
  • Be kind to yourself and others.

This course is for:

  • People who are new to mindfulness who want to improve their wellbeing.
  • Those with some experience of practising mindfulness who want to extend their understanding.
  • School teachers, resource teachers: learning and behaviour (RTLBs), guidance counsellors and other professionals already working with children and young people who are interested in learning to facilitate Mindful Aotearoa’s mindfulness in schools programme, Pause, Breathe, Smile.
  • Those interested in furthering their professional development by training in mindfulness.


About the teacher, Grant Rix

Grant is operations manager for Mindful Aotearoa and the creator of Mindful Aotearoa’s Pause, Breathe, Smile programme. Grant has been practising mindfulness all of his adult life and a mindfulness teacher for over 10 years.
